Privacy Policy

This policy explains how personal data is processed for establishing the Cortina North Home Owners Association (HOA) and for validating access to owners-only communications.

Purpose of processing

Set up the Cortina North Home Owners Association.
Validate owner status for access to owners-only communication channels.
Coordinate communication between the volunteer team and residents.

Legal basis

Processing is based on legitimate interest and consent.

Recipients and processors

Authorized volunteer team members acting under controller authority.
Microsoft Azure services used as processors (for example: Entra ID, SQL, Blob Storage, Key Vault).
WhatsApp participation is voluntary; app data is used only for ownership verification before access.

Retention

Data is retained only for HOA setup and deleted within 30 days after HOA establishment.

Security

Infrastructure uses private endpoints, Microsoft Entra authentication, email and phone validation, and OTP code at sign-in. Documents are stored in restricted blob storage.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, and portability according to GDPR.

Requests

Deletion requests can be executed through the app on request; other requests are answered within 30 days at florentinbuzoianu@gmail.com.
